Head, John T. "Tom", of Santa Ana, went home to our heavenly father, September 24, 2011.

John started working for Cooper Bessemer and completed 42 successive years of service. After a short retirement, he completed 17 years of service at one of his favorite places, Knott's Berry Farm.

He is survived by his wife, Bridgett; his sons, Michael, Mark (Tanya), Thomas (Connie), Lee (Naomi); and his five grandchildren, Caolan, Shaughn, Shelby, Kyrsten and Ryan. He is also survived by his brother, Lawrence (Laverne) and his sister, Sandra (Bob).

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Brown Colonial Mortuary with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 17270 Ward St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the American Heart Association in Tom's memory.
