James Andrew "Jim" Hankins, 82, of Mesa died September 17, 2011 at his home. Mr. Hankins was born in Newport, Arkansas. He was a Flight Engineer for TWA for 32 years and was a retired Master Sergeant in the USMCR. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Hankins (Crowder); daughter, Leslie (Randy) Spencer; 1 brother-in-law; 2 nephews and a niece. Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Church of the Epiphany, 2222 South Price Road in Tempe. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Marine Corps League Donations Program or Church of the Epiphany.
