Jarvis J. Hartfiel, 33, cherished son, brother and fiancée, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in New Jersey. He was born September 6, 1983 in Coon Rapids, MN to Jon R. Hartfiel & Joelle N. (Nelson) Alvord.
He grew up and attended school in Tustin, CA graduating in 2002 from Foothill High School. He moved to PA and attended Messiah College graduating in 2010 with a degree in International Business. He founded and operated Radiant Window Cleaning, Inc. His entrepreneurial spirit and ambition drove him to start the business and Jarvis loved his company! His passions included - the Minnesota Vikings, golf, volleyball, cigars, traveling, and celebrating life with family and friends. Known for his compassion and impressive work ethic Jarvis was loved by all who knew him.
Survived by, his loving fiancée, Elyse Russell; Joelle and Warren Alvord (mom & step-dad); Jonathan and Jiliane Hartfiel (siblings); Jon Morrow (nephew); Ebbie & Gloria Stone (grandparents); and his puppy, Bodhi. Predeceased by, Jon Hartfiel (dad); Chuck & Marvelle Hartfiel (grandparents).
A visitation will be held Friday, June 9, 2017, 11am-1pm at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109, with a funeral service beginning at 1pm. A wake will follow the service.
