Ramona Hahn was born on October 5, 1924 in Tokyo, Japan, where her parents were missionaries. She lived in Japan until the age of 11, when her family moved back to the United States. Ramona graduated from David Lipscomb High School in Nashville, Tennessee. She attended Pepperdine University where she met her future husband Kenneth. When her children were born, Ramona was a devoted homemaker and mother. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and most recently attended the Church of Christ in Redondo Beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn and her sister Jean. She is survived by her son James (Michelle) of Santa Monica, CA and daughter Janice of San Pedro, CA; brothers Harry Robert Fox (Gerrie), Logan Fox (Mary), Sterling Fox (Eunice), Clinton Fox and Arnold Fox (Shirley); grandchildren Katy (John), Danny, Mark (Jaclyn), Karina and Jackson; and great grandchildren McKenna, Brooklyn, Josiah, Isabela and Luke.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at McNerney's Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be private. San Pedro.
