Entered into eternal rest November 13, 2013 in Concord, CA. Beloved son of Betty E. Schmit. Loving brother of Sherry Aue (Jim) of Anchorage, AK. Dear uncle of Michelle L. Maxwell (Pat) & Michelle's son, Alex, of Austin, TX. Also survived by his cousin, Kim Panke (Gerd). Preceded in death by his father Russell G. Field and brother, William A. Ward. James honorable served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Broderick resident for 60 years. Friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday, November 22nd, 2013, 2 P.M., at the Woodland City Cemetery, 800 West Street, Woodland, CA.
