Fether (Bolger), Mary Margaret, known to friends and family as Peggie or Gg, passed away on April 16th in her home in Newport Beach, CA. Peggie had just celebrated her 80th birthday, a milestone she was quite proud of reaching. Peggie was born in Los Angeles on March 4th, 1931. She grew up in Beverly Hills where she attended Beverly Hills Catholic School and graduated from Immaculate Heart of Mary High School. Peggie married Kenneth William Fether, Ken, on November 3rd, 1951. Peggie is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Ken and her adored, 15 year old grand-daughter, Erin Olivia Shigenaga. Peggie is survived by her loving children, Cheryl Marie Leclerc (John), Kenneth William Fether (Colleen), and Nancy Ann Shigenaga (Gary). Peggie is also survived by her, pride and joy, grand-children Kenny Fether, Kyle Fether, John Michael Leclerc, Alexandra Shigenaga, and Misty Stauffer. Funeral mass will be said at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Newport Beach, on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011, at 11:00 am. Internment will immediately follow at Riverside Memorial Cemetery.
