Dowd, Thomas Patrick Jr., born on January 12, 1935, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2016 at the age of 81. He was a member of Sacred Heart Highschool, Class of 1954, and The Fightin' Irish Hall of Fame. Married for 60 years to the former Anne Nolan. Devoted father of Thomas III (Mariann), Jeanne (Greg Spangler), and Timothy (Ruth). Proud grandfather of Lauren, Seth, Zach, Rachel and Thomas John (TJ) Dowd. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Agnes Dowd of San Francisco;

Family and friends may visit 4:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. Daly City where a rosary service will begin at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 15 at St. Peter's Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco or St. Peter's Church Memorial Fund in Pacifica.
