Deckert, S. Diane, 69, passed away on 6/2/2016 in Orange, CA after a hard fought battle with cancer. Diane was born on 4/10/1947 in St. Paul, MN to Milfred & Shirley Dahlberg. She was married to the love of her life on 9/14/1968 and is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry Deckert. Also survived by her son Larry (Suzie Schroeder) Deckert; son Jeremy (Laurie) Deckert; daughter Heather (Brandon Fleming) Deckert; daughter Meighan (David Peterson) Deckert; grandchildren whom she loved more than life - Zacharey, Mackenzie, Ashley, Sydney, and Riley; sister Carol Berlauk, brother Mark Dahlberg, sister Holly Jones, brother Terry Dahlberg; and many other extended family and friends who loved her dearly. Diane worked for 28 years at Angel Stadium in concessions and in charge of Hawkers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, animals, morning walks with her dog Phoenix, BBQs, and holidays with friends and family. Diane gave selflessly to everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life service will be held 6/25, 1:00 PM at Trinity United Presbyterian Church 13922 Prospect Ave. Santa Ana, CA 92705. Flowers can be sent to the church on 6/25 by 12:00 PM. Donations can be made to www.elderpawsrescue.org.
