Margaret Mary Davoren
On August 30, 2013 Margaret Davoren peacefully passed away at the age of 105. Margaret was born in County Cork, Ireland on January 10, 1908. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen V. Davoren, Sr. on December 1, 1978 and her son Patrick J. Davoren on June 24, 1999. Margaret is survived by her daughter-in-law Dolores Davoren (Patrick, deceased), daughter, Mary McKamey (Gene), daughter, Cathaleen Leja (George), son, Stephen V. Davoren, Jr. (Janice), daughter, Anne Marie Clancy (Hubert), and daughter-in-law Helen Evans (Doug); loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Dear sister of the late Thomas and James Donovan and survived by her sisters Mary Burke and Nora Donovan in Ireland. She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins both here and in Ireland and by so many dear friends.

Margaret was devoted to her family, a kind, generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and an inspiration to all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation after 4pm on Friday, September 20th followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, CA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 21st at St. Augustine's Church, 3999 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward. In lieu of flowers gifts of remembrance may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38025 or a charity of your choice .
