Crawford, Ivan L., son of Carl Crawford and Velma (MaGee) Crawford, was born on March 24, 1927 in Gothenburg, Nebraska. Ivan departed this life May 3, 2011. Ivan was raised in Nebraska and joined the Navy in 1944. In 1947 he was honorably discharged and married Carol Nordman. Ivan and Carol moved to Fullerton, Ca. in 1955. Ivan retired from Barr Engineering with 30 years of service. After 53 years of marriage, Carol Crawford passed away. Ivan and Carol are survived by 3 sons Gary, Ronald and Dennis Crawford, (Steven Crawford deceased), 9 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Ivan married Virginia Lance in 2001. Ivan is survived by Virginia Crawford, 2 daughters Chris, Susie, 1 son Tom, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ivan was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters, Harry J. Crawford, Reva Crawford, Gene Crawford and Mitzie Valenti. Ivan is survived by his sister, Vivian Younghams. He was a resident of Fullerton, Ca. for 56 years. Taking care of his family gave him much happiness and joy. His 3 surviving sons have many wonderful memories. Ivan and Virginia enjoyed taking trips together. They were very happy. Ivan will be missed but we all have hope and peace knowing that he had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 10:00 AM at St Luke Lutheran Church, 2000 W. Valencia Dr., Fullerton, CA. McAulay & Wallace Mortuary
