Henry "Hank"
Christopherson
Hank passed away April 11, 2014 in South San Francisco. Henry Christopherson was born on a farm in Manitoba, Canada, one of nine children in 1924. Born of Icelandic descent, he procured his pride in his heritage throughout his life and immigrated to San Francisco in 1937.

Hank became a citizen of the United States and served in Asia in World War II. Following his service years, Henry joined the family real estate firm, Christopherson & Sons Real Estate, located on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco and remained involved in real estate the rest of his life.

Henry and his late wife Thelma were married in 1948 and spent the remainder of their lives living in South San Francisco.

Hank was preceded in death by his wife Thelma and his siblings the late Lil Costello, Caroline McLaughlin, Eileen Keller, Theodore, Lorne and Sig Christopherson.

Henry is survived by his son Gary, his daughter-in-law Stephanie and grandchildren Rachel and Blake, sister Dorothy Cartwright and brother Bill, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 15, 2014 from 4PM to 8PM at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. A Celebration Of Life will be held Wednesday, April 16th at 12:30 P.M. at Duggan's Serra. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1000 El Camino Real, Colma. A reception will follow.
