Carver, Aaron Keith March 1, 1923 - December 21, 2011 -

Resident of San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Aaron Keith was born and raised near Cheney, Kansas, and graduated from North High School in Wichita. He attended Washington University School of Music in St. Louis, and was an accomplished tenor and musician performing on local radio stations and the St. Louis Municipal Opera. Keith later sang on Broadway in New York, Las Vegas, and performed on radio and television in St. Lous and Hollywood, CA.

Army First Lieutenant Aaron Keith Carver served in North Africa, India, The Middle East, Australia and in the Pacific in World War II, from 1943 to 1946. He met his wife Mayme while stationed in the Philippine Islands. They later married and settled in Southern California, where Keith entertained in many local nightclubs and wrote music. Most Long Beach neighbors will remember Keith performing in Belmont Shore, Downtown Long Beach on the local radio stations. He also performed on KNBC television as well as many local radio stations. Keith and Mayme Carver raised three children, Michael, Kaaron and Casey. Keith later became a manager of many Ruben's and Coco's Restaurants in southern California. He later moved to the K-Mart Corporation where Keith retired at age 73 after losing his wife to cancer 18 years before his death. Keith was an avid snow skier, hiker, surfer and tent camper where he spent his most precious times with his loving wife.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial funeral service on Friday, January 13, at 11:00 am at Fairhaven Memorial Services, 27856 Center Drive, Mission Viejo, CA 92692.

A lunch will be served after the service. A military burial service will be performed on Monday, January 16, 2012 at noon at the Riverside National Cemetery.
