Sallie Louise Burkett went to heaven to be an angel on April 7, 2014, at the age of 70, with her family by her side. She was born December 16th, 1943, in Sacramento, California. She is survived by her beloved husband, John, of 51 years, her two brothers Gary and David, her three daughters, Debra, Kimberley and Sharon, her four grandchildren Johnathon, Stefanie, Jacqueline, John Frank and her two great grandchildren Dublyn and Dacen. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Grace Sypnicki and two of her brothers, Donald and Ron. Sallie graduated from McClatchy High School in 1962. Shortly after graduating she married John at the age of 18 and had three children. She spent many years working in real estate for which she had a great passion. About three years ago, she decided to start a second career at the California Franchise Tax Board which she loved going to every day. She had a zest and a passion for life and loved to be around her family. She enjoyed family get-togethers, reading, knitting blankets for her children and grandchildren, gardening, shopping, taking walks, her kitties, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her passing has left a hole in the lives of her loved ones, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her
