Briggs, Delores Born on February 8, 1941 in Moberly, MO and transitioned on October 2, 2014 in Sacramento, CA. Delores devoted over 32 years of Service to Sacramento City Unified School District where she worked in Food Service, specifically at John F. Kennedy H.S. Delores was involved in many organizations and more specifically spent her time as a volunteer at the Sam Pannell Community Center. Delores is survived by her daughter, Rosilind (Leonard) Moses; her son, Robert (Ann) Briggs Jr.; grandsons Brian Briggs and Jonathan Jackson; and granddaughters Akiela Moses, Makayla Moses, and Briann Briggs. sisters Zola Jackson and Vonciel Robinson and a host of other relatives. Friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, October 9 from 5 - 7 PM in Thompson's Rose Chapel, 3601 5th Ave. and to attend Funeral Services a Celebration of Life on Friday October 10 at 1 PM at St. Paul Baptist Church, 3996 14th Ave. Interment, Camellia Memorial Lawn.
