Helen Marie Boyko (nee Darus) passed away peacefully in Roseville, California on Monday, August 8, 2011 with family by her side. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 61 years, Dr. Nicholas Boyko; four daughters, Judith Boyko-Torgerson (Charles), Karen Boyko-Gate (Michael), Cynthia Boyko (David Radoff), and Nicole Boyko (Daniel Doyle); and twelve grandchildren. Helen was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1925, married in 1950, and moved to Sacramento in 1964 where she raised her daughters. She graduated from California State University of Sacramento Summa Cum Laude in 1974. Her sacrifices, compassion, and smile will be remembered and held in the hearts of her friends and family. In honor and celebration of her life donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lincoln. Services August 12 2011 2 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 280 Oak Tree Ln, Lincoln, CA.
