Robert "Bruce" Cleland of Glendora, CA passed away on May 20, 2013 at home with his loving family by his side.

He was born on February 29, 1940 in Raton, NM to Hugh and Jony Cleland moving to California in 1958 right after his high school
graduation. Bruce worked in the grocery industry for most of his life, first in his father's store in Raton then in California at Buy-Fair Markets. He began a 40+ year career as a food broker with the Bradshaw-Wells Company in 1968 then in 2002 opened his own company CMJ Sales & Marketing in Brea, CA.

Bruce loved to hunt, fish, golf and tinker in his garage. He served as senior warden at Grace Episcopal Church, was a coach at Glendora National Little League, Glendora All American Football and in the Glendora basketball program.

He is predeceased by his parents, brothers Dick and Roger Cleland, sister Sue Havenar and granddaughter Emily
Armstrong. He is survived by his wife Karen, children Don (Sarah) Cleland; Deana (Kelly) Armstrong; grandchildren Lauren (Sean Sheehan), Alex, Nathan, Christian, Adam & Tyler Armstrong; Jacob & Jared Cleland, Cynthia & Bekah Ritnimit; great-granddaughter Isobel Sheehan and a great-grandson due in July.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 555 E. Mountain View, Glendora, CA 91741; the Rev. Susan Scranton officiating. Reception immediately following in Baxter Hall.
