Frisco, Anthony

Frisco, Anthony, was born on Oct 18, 1922 in Norristown, PA and passed away in his Yorba Linda home, surrounded by loved ones, on Sept 16, 2013.

Anthony grew up in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He enlisted and became a Staff Sergeant in the Army during WWII and fought as an infantry rifleman in the 94th Division. He then moved to Anaheim, CA where he married Madeleine and raised his family. After retiring from Safeway, he opened "Frisco's Gourmet" in Yorba Linda, famous for fresh turkey sandwiches and his motto "The Best for You". He was a very humble and generous man that lived a modest life with dignified integrity. He is survived by his two daughters, Madeleine Elliott and Marcella DeCasas, and their husbands Cliff and Michael, 3 grandchildren, Jonathan and Annette, and Marcella Lynn, and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Madeleine Anita Frisco.

Viewing will be held at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, Sat., 9/21 at 10am, with funeral to follow at 12pm. A celebration of Anthony's life will follow the funeral back at his home.
