Arlene passed away on March 16, 2014 with her family at her side. Arlene was born in Nickerson, Nebraska. Her family moved to California where she met James R. Anderson and married him in Orange California. They both graduated from Orange High School. Arlene was happily married to Jim for 63 years. Arlene worked for JC Penny in Orange for 45 years.

Arlene moved up to Northern California one year ago to be near her family. She was 87 years old and was preceded in death by her husband James R. Anderson and best friend and sister Shirley Bruce.

Arlene leaves behind son, Darrell Anderson of Colfax California; daughter in law, Terry Anderson; two granddaughters, Jaynie Wall, married to Scott Wall and Dawn Roberts married to Walter Roberts; three great granddaughters, Shae and Celeena Wall and Jillian Roberts; and one great grandson, Sam Roberts.

Viewing will be Friday March 21. 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm. Memorial service will be Saturday March 22, 2014 at 11:00 am, at Shannon-Bryan Mortuary 137 East Maple, Orange.

Burial will follow at Fairhaven Memorial Park.
