Alvers, Joan Elizabeth

Age 58, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Thursday, September 29, 2011. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved camping, restoring classic cars with her husband and spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her husband Jon; her sister, Judy Andrews of Pahrump, NV; two brothers, John Andrews of Hesperia, CA , Dennis Highfield of Murrieta, CA; three daughters, Tina Wells of Greenwood, IN, Jammie Sujishi of Yorba Linda, CA, Stephine Alvers of San Bernardino, CA; two sons, Joey Shoemaker of Greenwood, In and Scott Alvers of San Bernardino, CA; thirteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, 1:00 PM at Calvary Chapel of San Bernardino, 1499 E. BAseline St, San Bernardino, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society .
