Resident of San Jose
Born to eternal life January 7, 2013, after a 3 year battle with cancer. A second-generation California Native, she was born to this life May 14, 1931 in Gridley, CA. She lived in Richmond and resided in San Jose for over 60 years. She raised 2 daughters, Penny and Kristine. She worked in a variety of administrative support positions to include Cal-Pacific Title Insurance and O'Connor Hospital. She retired from civil service with the State of California having worked at Agnew State Hospital, the California Highway Patrol, Dept. of Rehabilitation and the Unemployment Appeals Board. She traveled throughout the US and Europe, and enjoyed animals, collecting figurines, and country music. She was a member of St. Christopher Church and the F.O. Eagles.
Friends are invited to attend a Visitation Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. Second Street, San Jose. Funeral Mass Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christopher Church, 2278 Booksin Avenue, San Jose. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
