Tributes for

Bewley, Elizabeth

Elizabeth Bewley passed away on Wed. Feb. 11, 2015 after a two year illness. She lived in Fullerton for over five decades, and was secretary for many years at Ladera Vista Junior High School there. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, life-long dedication to fitness, accuracy and attention to the smallest details. We will miss her incomparable organizational skills. She kept daily journals her whole life and was the historian for family and friends. She graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario and from UCLA (1949, Business Administration). She was an only child and in adulthood she found great joy in her large family. She is survived by her husband, Bill Bewley Sr.; daughter, Karen Keeran Green (Doug) of OR; step-son, Bill Bewley Jr. (Sue) of Thousand Oaks; and step-daughter, Janice Hodge (Dave) of Orange. She is survived by many grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart: Cori Taron (Derek) of WA, Bryan Hill of WA, Chris Green (Dana) of OR, Camille Green of WA, Stacy Hodge of Orange, Michael Hodge (Jocelyn) of San Diego, Mark (Terri) Bewley of AZ, Robin (Jeff) VanNest of MN and Craig Bewley of Burbank. She was blessed with great-grandchildren whom she adored: Hailey and Cooper Taron, Molly (Hodge) Guerra, Zachary and Justeen Hodge, Ben and Emily Bewley, Harrison and Blakely VanNest. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Vicki Keeran (2011) and her former husband, Vic Keeran (2011). Special thanks to her life-long friends who meant so much to her, the church family at Fullerton First United Methodist Church, and to her caregivers Grace, Nora, April, Lea and Mylene. Graveside services were held at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton.
