John Marinchak

John Joseph Marinchak, 76, of Mountain View, Ca. John "Ish" Marinchak, son of John and Mary Marinchak, loving husband of Nancy Elizabeth Marinchak, passed away on June 19th in Trinity County, Ca after a complications from COPD. He is survived by his wife Nancy, four sons, Jeff (Susan), John, Todd (Elizabeth), Mike (Jennifer) and nine grandchildren all living in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is also survived by one sister, Dolores (Joe) Maloy, and two brothers, James (Debbie) and Tommy (Anita), and one aunt, and many cousins, nieces, nephews in Pennsylvania. Ish grew up in Latrobe, son of a Coal Miner and devoted Mother. Ish was a high school football running back star at Latrobe High School where he graduated in 1956. After high school, Ish met and married Nancy while she was in Nursing school in Latrobe, and soon afterward they relocated to the Bay Area in 1961. Ish worked as a Machinist at Varian Associates in Palo Alto until he started his own Business in 1979, with his life long friend Ed Suda, whom he met when he was in the 1st grade at St. Vincent Basilica elementary school in Latrobe. He was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather who loved fishing on the Trinity River, and spending time and playing with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at St. Simon's Church in Los Altos, Ca at 2:00 pm, on July 19th. Reception to follow at the Marinchak Home.
