Martinez, Belinda
Belinda was 51 years old when she passed away on December 28, 2013. In passing she was surrounded by her close family, nieces, nephews and friends.
Belinda was a lifelong resident of Sacramento; H.S. Graduate of Valley High. Had a 26 year career with the U.S. government culminating as a Benefits Analyst in the Social Security Adm.-OHA. She is survived by her partner (Joseph Miranda), three brothers John, Michael, Lawrence, sister Rosemary and brother-in-law Michael Moniz Sr. She has numerous aunts and uncles as well as an extended family in New Mexico.
Belinda had no children, but for her nieces and nephews who she had been an inspiration and mentor right up until her passing. Belinda loved the Lord and had a big generous, loving heart. She also loved ocean seals and was especially fond of her cats. She was an active member of the ASPCA.
The viewing/rosary will be held On Thursday, Jan. 9 at 6pm at Herberger's Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. Elk Grove, CA. 95624. Funeral services will be held on Jan 10 at 10am at All Hallows Catholic Church, 5501 14th Avenue, Sacto, CA 95820. Interment immediately to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, 6700 21st Street, Sacto. CA. 9582
