Margaret "Peggy" Adamson was called home November 20, 2013. Peggy hailed from South Dakota. Her life changed when she moved to California and met the love of her life, Matt Adamson. They were married in 1949. They lived in Southern California for 13 years before moving to Loomis. They lived happily for 40 years until Matt's death in 1990. Peggy spent 22 years with U.S. Postal Service in Loomis. She enjoyed golf, bowling, reading and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Peggy is survived by her daughters, Nanci Bruun and her husband, Tom from Arizona, Maggie Knapp and her husband, Joe, from Auburn, Laurie Murphy and her husband John, from Sparks, Nevada; sons, Matt Jr. and his wife Betty from Arizona and Greg and his wife, Jennifer, from Roseville. Peggy was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Mom's other love, her Catholic faith, saw her through the peaks and valleys of her life. She was a parishioner of St. Rose Catholic Church and that's where we will celebrate her life with a funeral mass on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 12 noon. Reception following. Internment private.
