Condon, Harold W.
Harold W. Condon, 95 years of age, entered eternal life with his Heavenly Father the morning of Friday, Nov. 15 in the care of his family. He is survived by five children: Richard (Linda) of Sunnyvale, Thomas (Debbie) of Tracy, Margaret of Elk Grove, William of Los Altos, Edward (Norman) of Elk Grove, and nine grandchildren: Eddie, Theresa, Christina, Christian, Will, Kevin, Michael, Maddy and Tim. Katherine, his loving wife of 51 years, preceded him in his passing.

Harold was born July 3, 1918 and raised in Clare, Iowa where he farmed for many years until he relocated his family to the Bay Area. He worked for United Airlines for 35 years until his retirement 30 years ago. He has been a resident of Elk Grove for the past 14 years and loyal parishioner of Saint Joseph Parish where he attended daily morning Mass for several years.

Harold is described by his family and friends as a hard-working, loving, loyal, generous father and devoted grandfather who enjoyed volunteering, traveling, and spending time with his extended family as well as keeping in touch with friends from many places.

The celebration of his life will begin with a vigil & viewing at the Herberger Family Mortuary in Elk Grove on Wednesday, November 20 from 3-8 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Sacramento; followed by the graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos.
