Canale, Joseph Anthony Jr., June 3, 1923 - September 22, 2013. Joe died peacefully in Orange, Ca on Sunday, September 22, 2013 due to complications of a stroke. Born in Jeannette, PA on June 3, 1923, the beloved son of Joseph and Josephine Canale. Joe was a retired property manager/Office administrator and also served in the U.S. Navy for over twenty years. Joe's greatest joys were being with his two grandchildren, Joey and Maddy, watching Mater Dei and Notre Dame football and being a handyman who could fix just about anything. Joe was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Iva Jane, survived by sons: Gerald, Terrance and Kelly, grandchildren, Joseph and Madeline; and special friend and daughter-in-law, Julia (wife of Terrance.) Viewing will be held Friday from 3-6pm at Brown Colonial Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 AM at Holy Family Cathedral.
