William Earl Cummings
Passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2013 surrounded by his wife Beverly, 3 daughters and their husbands, and his grandchildren. Born April 25th, 1925 in Porterville, he founded Progressive Orthopedic in Sacramento in 1949 with his partner Dan McGrew. He enabled many clients to live comfortably with their prosthetics. In life he enjoyed his family and friends first. He also loved playing golf, fishing in Idaho, and traveling with his wife and friends. He was a generous and loving man and will be missed. Come celebrate Earl's life with his family at Miller's Funeral Home in Folsom at 11:00 am Saturday March 16th. After a social celebration with Earl, the memorial will begin at 12:30.
