Adolph Gomez Lucio, (aka Pedro G. Lucio), age 85, a life-time resident of Santa Ana, passed away February 7, 2013.
Adolph was born in Santa Ana on February 19, 1927, attended schools in Santa Ana, served in the U.S. Army during WWII and worked as a cement mason for 35 years. He also was an active parishoner at St. Joseph Catholic Church and served as a Euchuristic Minister. He was a member of the Pacers group at Main place mall, was a Litlle League Coach, President of the Parents Booster group for the SAHS band, American Legion member, loved golfing and raised 2 sons who fulfilled his dream for a college education, one going to USC and the other to UCLA. He was a lifelong fan for both schools.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Aurora (aka Penny) Lucio; two sons, Warren and Rodney Lucio; eight grandchildren, Gregory, Jacqueline, Stephen, Janelle, Danielle, Nicolette, Erica & David; two brothers, Aurelio and Mike Lucio; one sister, Rachel Pinedo.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 9:00pm on Monday, Feb. 18th at Brown Colonial Mortuary with a vigil service at 7:00pm in the mortuary chapel.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Tuesday, Feb. 19th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Santa Ana.
Interment will follow in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange.
