Tributes for

Duran, Anthony Joseph

Duran, Anthony Joseph, of Placentia, passed away from a tragic accident on 1/12/13.

He was born on 9/11/98 in Fountain Valley, CA.

Anthony was a very special young man who was taken too soon. He deeply cared about his family and his friends, he loved football and prayed to make a touchdown one day, (which he did) we were all so very proud, he often spoke that he would someday be in the NFL.

Anthony loved to visit with his Papa and Gma who by all accounts spoiled him silly and they enjoyed every moment of it. He would help his grandpa in Arizona clean pools when he visited and for some reason didn't have a problem getting up at the crack of dawn to do it. He adored and looked up to his father and enjoyed every moment he spent with him.

His family was his greatest love and he would fiercely defend them, but also loved to tease his baby brother cause that's what brothers do.

He loved hanging out with his two best friends, Yanniello and Richard as well as many other friends who have shown such loving support for him.

He is survived by his loving family; his mother and step-father, Shanon and Leo Tavera; his father and step-mother, Jesus and Lorena Duran; his brothers and sister, Austin, Rene and Breana; his grandparents, Randy and Bridget Covington, and Raymond and Linda Duran; his aunts and uncles, Jenna, Eric, Randi, Angie, Helyn, Abby, Eliu, Sandra, Jerson, Raymond Jr, Sharon; as well as numerous cousins

The funeral service will be held on Friday 1/18/13 At Friends Community Church on Jackson St in Midway City with burial immediately following at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Huntington Beach, followed by a celebration of life gathering at his Papa and Grandma's home in Westminster.

The family would like to express their love and appreciation for all the love and support provided by so many during this very difficult time.
