Ishbel Davis
Resident of Saratoga
Born in Callanish, on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland on September 21, 1932. Ishbel went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2012, with her family by her side. Ishbel worked as a nurse and midwife in three countries before coming to the Bay Area in 1960, where she married her true love Tony in 1963, who preceded her in death. She later earned a BA and MA in English Literature, and taught at several Community Colleges.
Ishbel is survived by her four children and their spouses, Don, Heather (Tom), Rich, Ian (Kelli) and her six grandchildren, Emily, Allison, Alexandra, Natalie, Owen and Danielle. Ishbel had a bright smile, infectious laugh and a warm and generous heart. She will be missed.
The family would like to thank the kind and giving people who work at Cedar Creek in Los Gatos for the many years of love and care that they gave to Ishbel and her family. Services to be held at Saratoga Federated Church at 2 pm Friday, June 15.
