Standridge, Evelyn age 90, passed away on February 23, 2012 following a short, but courageous battle with lung cancer. Evelyn was born and raised on a farm with her 7 brothers and sisters in Appleton, Minn. Evelyn was married for 20 years to her loving and devoted husband Jess. They had been residents of Santa Ana, Calif. for 24 years. Evelyn was known for her loving personality, her contagious laugh, and her gift of friendship to all that had the pleasure to have known her. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Harold, Raymond, Clarence and her sisters, Martha, Eunice, Dorothea and Florence and her husband, Jess. Her daughter Sheryl and son Michael; her stepdaughter Sharon Standridge; her two granddaughters Monique and Lisa; and her six great grandchildren, Aimee, Eric, Anne, Wyatt, Winston, and Chloe survive her.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Brown Colonial Mortuary. Funeral Services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Monday at Red Hill Lutheran Church, Tustin.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to Red Hill Lutheran Church in memory of Evelyn.
