Brad Henry Becker, 65, of Santa Ana California, passed away on Friday December 30th 2011 surrounded by his children. He was born March 24, 1946 in Mauston, Wisconsin, the son of late Isabel Nerud and John Becker. He was the older of two boys. He graduated from law school at UCLA School of Law and had an undergraduate degree from California State University Long Beach. He was admitted to The State Bar of California in 1973. Brad married Suzanne Melton March 23, 1983 in Newport Beach, California. They later divorced but continued to raise their three children. He was a personal injury Attorney and for many years had his own office space in Tustin, California. In his later years he operated from his penthouse/castle and later from his home in the “middle of the street.” He grew up playing golf and tennis and later taught his children how to play. He became an amazing pianist and was part of a band, Becker’s Lonely Hearts Club. He enjoyed hunting and being a member of the Wild Game Feed with his son. He was a wonderful cook and made many family meals. He volunteered for the Rotary Foundation for many years and was named Street Captain for his services with the Orange International Street Fair. He was a friend to all, and kept his door open for any who needed a place to stay. He is survived by his son Jeff Becker of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter Katey Becker of Tustin, CA; daughter Leah Becker and son-in-law James Grant of Portland, OR; brother David Becker and sister-in-law Rebecca ogers of Santa Rosa, CA. The celebration of his life will take place at 11am on Saturday January 14, 2012 at Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant located at 131 E. Collins Ave in Orange, CA.
