Bagwell, Fred A., 86, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2011 after living life to its fullest. Fred was born in Riverside, CA to Homer and Marian Bagwell, on December 16, 1924. He attended Poly High in Riverside. He honorably served his country in WWII as a member of the Army's 156th Field Artillery Battalion. After the War, he attended UC Berkeley, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, becoming a professional engineer and a member of the Society of Mechanical Engineers. During this time Fred met the love of his life, Gloria Klingzell. Together, they shared 65 beautiful years, raising 3 fabulous children, Cindi, Ron and Lisa. Fred worked 35 years for So. Cal. Edison retiring in 1984. Fred's loves, other than his family, were tennis, golf, basketball, art, gardening, the ocean, and singing in the Fullerton First Baptist Church choir. Fred is survived by his "Beebe", Gloria, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. Fred had a great sense of humor and touched many with his ability to make people smile and laugh. Fred lived his life spiritually with dignity and grace. He was cherished and loved by all. He will always be in our hearts. As for our grief, as Dad always said, "This too will pass, our memories, however, never will." We will miss you Fred. Memorial service at Wilshire Avenue Community Church in Fullerton, Tuesday, November 8 at 2:00 PM.
