Williams, Loys Raymond

Loys Raymond Williams, 82, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother and perpetual jokester passed away in Tomball, Texas, on September 13, 2011.
Loys was born in Fairbanks, Texas, on April 3, 1929. He was one of 13 children born to Jethro and Emily Williams. He attended Cy-Fair High School and served as a PFC in the United States Army. He was married to June Campbell Williams for 24 years until her passing in 1979. He married Mildred Schroeder Jurischk Williams in 1980, and they celebrated their 31st anniversary on September 5. 2011. He was employed as a purchasing agent for Tenneco, Inc., and retired in 1989 after 40 years with the company.
Loys is survived by his beloved wife, Mildred; his daughters, Sherry Cryer and Donna Atwood; his stepsons, Gene Jurischk and Bert Jurischk; sons-in-law, Jesse Cryer and Charles Atwood, and daughter-in-law, Sherry Jurischk; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and one surviving sibling, Harvey Williams.
Visitation will be held at Klein Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Champions Church of Christ, 13902 Cutten Road, Houston, Texas, with Minister Larry Keele officiating. Interment will follow at Perry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Loys' memory to Medina Children's Home, 21300 State Highway 16N, Medina, Texas 78055.
