Smith, Frances B. Born May 16, 1939, passed peacefully Aug 9, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. A loving daughter to John & Ellen Callahan. Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Smith. Frances' sister, Mary Ellen Pothoven-Kitchen followed her into Heaven on Aug. 13, 2014. Frances enjoyed teaching Physical Education for 35 years at Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento, CA. She retired in 1998. Frances is survived by her loving step-children, Vicki and Franz Kaiser, Terri Smith, Steve and Paula Smith, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, beloved nieces, Julie Fisher, Joyce Mateer and nephew, John Pothoven, great nieces & nephews. She will be deeply missed. Services will be held at Herberger's Family Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove 95624 August 23 at 11:00 AM.
