Margaret, Aletto "Marge"

Margaret Aletto (Marge), 92, Rosevile Calif., passed away on July 11, 2013 at the Palms Assisted Care in Roseville.
Marge was born October 2, 1920 in Oakland California to Charles Hamilton and May Agnus (Flynn) Evans. She married Joseph Aletto in 1944 - they were married until his death in 1996.
She attended Castlemont High School in Oakland. Growing up in the depression one of her first jobs was selling newspapers. She also worked as a waitress in Berkeley and as a conductor on the Key System (Train) in the Bay Area in the 40's but mostly worked as a bookkeeper until moving to El Dorado Hills in 1970. During her life she was very active - In Oakland belonging to the BPW (Business and Professional Women's Club). While living in both El Dorado Hills and Roseville was quite active in the Newcomers Club. She enjoyed playing Bridge, Bunco, Poker and always was in a bowling league until her 60's. Two of her other passions were dancing and music. During the 40's she enjoyed many USO dances. She also enjoyed attending the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee and watching Dancing with the Stars and golf on Sundays.
Survivors include daughter, Jo Ann Aletto, Roseville; grandson, Brandon Hibbs, Roseville; sister, Marthe Hurley, Concord; brother, Carl Evans (Corrine), Alamo; sister-in-laws: Theresa Aletto, Napa; Marilyn Evans, Placerville; Ione Evans, Sonoma; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by both her parents: her husband, Joe; brothers: Charlie, John, Ralph, and Harold Evans; sisters: Dorothy Teifel and Alice Fenell.
A Celebration of Life was held at the Timber Lodge at Sun City Roseville on September 22, 2013. Donations can be made to your favorite charity .
