Tributes for

Mull, Linda Marie

Mull, Linda Marie (Andersen), was born on July 11, 1960 at Doctors' Hospital in Santa Ana to Martin and Marie (Pedersen) Andersen. She grew up on a chicken ranch on Fletcher Street in Orange, CA until moving with her parents and brother, Ron, to a home near Tustin Ave. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran School, Yorba Middle School and Orange High School (Class of 1978). She was a great athlete but basketball was her sport. Linda furthered her education at Fullerton and Santa Ana Junior Colleges. Linda then went into the work force working for Tradeamericard until she later got a job with the Gas Company. In 1979, before either of them started working for the Gas Company, Linda met her future husband, Tom Mull on a blind date set-up by good friends. Tom and Linda stayed in Orange County moving from different houses in South Orange County and eventually ending up in the city of Orange. Linda retired from the gas company after 17 years to start a family. Their son, Tanner, was born May 30, 1999. The Mull family settled into Salem Lutheran as their home church. Their son, Tanner, attended Salem Lutheran School and graduated this year. Linda's life was dedicated to her family and to Tanner's experiences at school and with sports. Besides being on many committees at Salem she also worked as a Teacher's Aide at the school. Linda also managed to find time to get her real estate license and worked for Mike & Adele, Inc. for 3 years. Having an athletic son also placed Tom and Linda in many volunteer positions, including being a board member with the South Sunrise Little League. Linda died peacefully in her sleep on July 10, the day before her 53rd birthday. Linda is survived by her husband of 28 years, Tom Mull; son, Tanner; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Sandy Andersen and their 3 children, Eric, John and Kristin. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. We will remember Linda for the things she cherished: her faith in a triune God, her family, Tom and Tanner, and extended family who all live nearby, her love of people evident by all her friends and her passion during her life. Linda's funeral service will be held at Salem Lutheran Church, 6500 E. Santiago Canyon Road in Orange, CA on Thursday, July 18 at 10:30 a.m. with burial immediately following at Fairhaven Memorial Cemetery, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. before the service at Salem. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been established for Linda's son, Tanner Mull.
