Joan Burgdorf Klosowski, Woodland resident for 53 years, died on Oct. 4 at the age of 80. She was born on July 31, 1934 in Peabody, MA.

She attended Holten High School in Danvers, MA and worked for 33 years at Mobil Chemical. She enjoyed volunteering at Holy Rosary Church in Woodland.

She was predeceased by her parents, Terence and Jane Klosowski, brother Terence C. Klosowski Jr., and husband of 25 years, Fred Burgdorf.

She is survived by daughter Carolyn Cook and husband Matt; sisters Jean V. Klosowski (her twin) and Phyllis Ryan and her husband Jim; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday Oct. 10 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m at McNary's Chapel, 458 College Street in Woodland.

Burial will be at Annunciation Cemetery in Danvers, MA at a later date.
