Jeremy Paul Johnson
January 19, 1991 – May 27, 2017

Jeremy Paul Johnson passed away at his home in San Francisco on Saturday, May 27, 2017. His smile, sense of humor, willingness to help others, strong belief in God, and tender personality brought much joy to those around him.

Although he was only 26 years old, he projected courage and hope and reminded us of how precious life can be. Jeremy was an avid reader and loved spending time playing the guitar. He would often spend hours reading or playing his guitar for those he loved.

He graduated from St. Vincent de Paul School and Saint Ignatius College Preparatory.

Jeremy is survived by his loving parents, Mary McGinty and Bert Johnson; grandmother, Helen McGinty; aunts: Patricia (John) Courtney, Ann Malman, Barbara White, Peggy Johnson, and Beverly Johnson; cousins: Scott and Greg Malman, Christine (Bryan) Daley, Michael and Ryan Courtney, Glen Johnson, Kevine Boggess; and great cousins: Aidan, Dominic, and Nicole. Preceded in death by his grandparents: John McGinty and Flora and Bertram Johnson.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 3, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 2320 Green Street, San Francisco. Donations in Jeremy's name may be made to Saint Ignatius College Preparatory, 2001 37th Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94116. Private interment will be held at a later date.
