Chavelo, 90, Santa Ana, CA, joined the love of his life, Guadulape, in eternal peace.
Chavelo is survived by his daughters, Estella and Mona Arciniaga, Diana Santellan (Art) and his son Rick (Sandy). He leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Adrienne and Joshua Santellan, Jennifer Methvin (James), Nick (Carolyn), Michael and Samuel Arciniaga and 2 great-grandchildren, Milla and John Connor Methvin.
Chavelo was a WWII veteran. He was a corporal with the famed 101st Airborne Division, 506th PIR, 1st Battalion, Company A.
Visitation will be held at Brown Mortuary, Santa Ana on Wed, Oct 7th 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Mass will be held at Our Lady of Pillar Church, Thurs, Oct 8th at 10:30am followed by interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange
