She had an accomplished record in coaching and administration. She coached the women's volleyball team from 1973-1990, winning state titles in 1978, 1980, and 1982. Her teams won five conference championships and advanced to the playoffs 15 times. Her career record was 233-100. She was Assistant Athletic Director from 1991 to 1998 and became Dean of the Physical Education Department and Athletic Director from 1998 to 2001. Jane loved her Corona del Mar neighborhood, where she lived for 42 years, and the many close friendships she made there. Golf was a big part of her life. She enjoyed her membership at Newport Beach Country Club and her many friends there for over twenty five years. She was a faithful member of Lutheran Church of the Master in Corona del Mar.
