Frank Leroy Heddens Sr.
Born April 5th, 1933 in Salina, KS died of complications of ALS September, 19th, 2013.
His surviving loved ones include; Children-Dianna Stewart, Kim Logan, Frank Heddens Jr. and Tracy Heddens, two grandchildren he raised- Cory Huntsman and Crystal Coy, six additional grandchildren, five great grandchildren, Brother-Gilbert Heddens, and sisters- Mollie Sanders and Helen Williams.
Arriving in San Bernardino in the middle of the Great Depression with .13 cents to the family's name, Frank's parents taught him resourcefulness and the value of hard work. After serving in the Marine Corps and starting a family, he owned and operated Frank's Muffler and Air Conditioning until retirement. Very active within the community, he contributed to many charities, was a Shriner of the Masonic Lodge, member of the Elks Lodge, and The Over the Hill Gang Car Club.
Frank loved to fish, play card games and restore classic cars-for which he received many trophies and awards. Known for his sharp sense of humor, Frank was entertaining even in his final days.
