Curtis, Jr., Gary John Was called home suddenly on September 1, 2014. Born March 31, 1965 in Oscoda, Michigan and grew up in Bakersfield, CA. Once he graduated high school Gary moved to Sacramento and became an entrepreneur, eventually building his own business, Curtis Asphalt. Gary had an adventurous spirit, he loved racing motocross, snowboarding, riding mountain bikes and many other outdoor activities. Gary had no greater passion than his family. He was more proud of his children than anything else. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend to many. He is survived by his mother Joyce Christensen and her husband Bruce, father Gary Curtis Sr and his wife Jill, brothers Jason Curtis, John Curtis, Kevin Christensen, sisters Christa Curtis, Dawn Kubat, and Lindsey McGee, and his children Zachary and Haley, as well as their mother Shawna Garrison-Salvo, 6 aunts, 5 uncles, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews as well as countless friends. He was loved and will be missed by many. Memorial services will be held Saturday September 6 at 2:30 pm at Rolling Hills Church, 800 White Rock Road El Dorado Hills, CA.
