John P. Corkrean, 61, of Osceola passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 24 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset, where his family will be present 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., to receive friends. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be held 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.

John is survived by his wife, Sandra of Osceola; three children, George Robert Paul of Collins, Iowa, Dory Bakley of Osceola, and Tahra Bedwell of Osceola; two brothers, Steve Corkrean of Winterset and Terry Corkrean of Ankeny; four sisters, Kathleen Thomas of Ankeny, Iowa, Colleen Ewers of Des Moines, Iowa, Patty Denison of West Des Moines, Iowa and Laurie Adams of Ankeny, Iowa;
