Joan "Tilly" Van Dijl Burton passed away in Sacramento, CA, with her husband Charles, son Richard, and daughter-in-law Donna by her side. She is also survived by her three sisters Greta Steers, Dorothy Filby, and Freda Van Dijl, and her three grandchildren Colin Burton, Nigel Burton, and Toree Martin. Joan was a beloved wife, mother, sister, Nana, and friend to many. She will be remembered and honored with a reception and viewing on Wednesday, May 31st from 3-6pm and a service from 6-7pm at The Women's Thursday Club at 10625 Fair Oaks Blvd, Fair Oaks, CA. Burial will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA, Wednesday, June 7th, 11:30am - Noon. Arrival permitted at 10:30am.
