Tributes for

Baker, Spencer

Spencer McRae Baker was born on September 7, 1990 in San Francisco and died unexpectedly at home on March 31, 2016.
He graduated from Town School for Boys and The San Francisco Bay High School. Spencer majored in Philosophy and received his Bachelors degree at the University of San Francisco.
Spencer was a man of keen intelligence, sly humor and robust generosity. Spencer is survived by his father James Patrick Baker, his mother Elizabeth Robertson Baker, his sister Cameron Keast Baker and his aunt Katherine Bruce Robertson. He will be missed by his grandfather Robert Gene Baker and the large clan of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Spencer's friends were everything to him. His hugs, silly banter and quirky smile will remain in all of our hearts. Most of Spencer's life was filled with fun and adventure. He traveled to many far away places and was happiest playing games and sports with his friends. Spencer had a passionate affection for animals who in turn gravitated to him before all others. Handsome, sensitive and funny Spencer will be remembered with love and tenderness. Spencer's beautiful life was cut way too short. Be at Peace. Your painful struggle is finally over.
There will be a celebration of Spencer's life on Saturday May 14, 2016 at The Episcopal Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 2325 Union Street, San Francisco at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow at the church. Donations in his memory may be made to the SF SPCA at sfspca.org or SF SPCA, Development Department, 201 Alabama St. SF 94103
